Our mission at MENDAKOTA PEDIATRICS is to provide comprehensive pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents in a small, family-focused practice setting. We place the highest possible value on the doctor-patient (and doctor-family) relationship. We understand that many families are frustrated by large clinic systems that make it difficult to see their own physician. We also believe that families are looking for a "medical home" where the staff knows them well, and where parents can be assured that their children's problems will be watched over by their own personal physician, not by an impersonal, monolithic health "system".
Because we place such a high value on this personalized model of care for children and their families, our clinic uses an computer-based "Electronic Medical Record" (EMR) system. Our EMR puts us on the cutting-edge of medical technology in a small practice setting.
